With a strong background in stage combat and martial arts and a flair for tough, edgy characters, this fearless actress is ready to take on the most dynamic and challenging characters. Katalena is a 5'2" deadpan dynamo and can handle anything you throw at her, with ten feet of personality rolled into her petite athletic frame.  A surprisingly deep voice lends power to any role she takes on.

Katalena has appeared on several networks, including Discovery ID, G4, and TLC.  She was in a commercial for Home Depot, starred in a Japanese commercial aired on American TV, and was also in a Flatrate Moving commercial on Time Warner Cable. She is also an extremely accomplished independent actress, starring in numerous shorts from comedy to action and everything in between.  She received critical acclaim for her run as a female Macduff in Shakespeare’s Macbeth at the Delphi Theatre, and recently closed her starring role in the Hudson Guild Theater's production of Edward Albee's The Death Of Bessie Smith.

While her acting career is actually quite young, Katalena has accomplished much, most notably studying in a Master's class under the personal tutelage of Kathleen Turner, a fellow deep-voiced powerful actress, and an extensive study of commercial acting under the tutelage of Batt Johnson.  She has also studied martial arts under the carefully trained eye of Master Damon Honeycutt.  Seventeen years of softball has made Katalena a focused team player, ready to make any production better.  Her love of science fiction, fantasy and comics will always draw Katalena towards the more esoteric and adventurous roles, but her quirky accident-prone nature and dry sarcasm makes her the perfect comedienne.  Mix in fearless martial arts training, and you've got a complete package.
